The Tantrum XT features our most popular paddle shape. The slightly longer face and curved sides increase its response and improve its performance. The Tantrum XT paddle is made with our power core for the player who either has an affinity for the hard game or has the skill to slow the ball down themselves. Its core is made of honeycomb polymer with graphics printed on a fiberglass face for the maximum texture allowed for USA Pickleball approval. It has a 5" handle length, and comes standard with a 4.25" circumference that is octagonally-shaped. Features TMPR vibration dampening technology.

I picked up the TMPR Tantrum XT because I wanted a paddle with a bit more pop, and the 13mm power core definitely delivers. The 16.25" x 7.75" face gives me good reach at the kitchen line, and the slightly elongated shape with curved sides feels quick in transition. The fiberglass face has a nice texture for spin, and the TMPR vibration dampening is noticeable on off-center hits. The 5" octagonal handle fits my hand well. It rewards a firm game, so if you rely on dinks you'll need to soften your hands. Good paddle overall.
