The Onix Graphite Z5 is the most popular paddle in the Onix line because of its outstanding touch and ball control. The graphite face and nomex core give players superior feel of the ball, and with a total paddle weight of 7.5-8.2 ounces, the Z5 strikes a perfect balance between power and speed. The Widebody shape on the Z5 is great for beginner through advanced level players with its large sweet spot. I've been using the ONIX Graphite Z5 for a few weeks now and it's become my go-to paddle. The graphite face with nomex core really does give you great feel and control, especially on dinks and soft shots. At 7.5-8.2 oz it feels balanced, not too heavy but still has enough pop. The widebody shape gives a generous sweet spot, which helps on off-center hits. Handle is 5 inches with a 4.25 grip, comfortable for my hand. It meets USAPA requirements so I can use it in tournaments. Solid choice for beginners through advanced players looking for control.
